Real 24/7 Emergency Help, Without the Surcharge
Real 24/7 Emergency Help, Without the Surcharge
Most Okanagan garage door emergencies happen at the worst possible times. A spring snaps right when you're leaving for the airport. The opener fails the night before you list the house. The door jams open at your Naramata rental between guests. We answer every one of those calls, every day, all year - including weekends and holidays.
Our after-hours trucks roll with the parts that fail most often in our valley: cold-rated torsion springs, replacement cables, sealed nylon rollers, opener electronics, and weatherstripping. Most emergency calls end the same way a normal repair does - one visit, door working again, technician on the way to the next call. The difference is just the time of day.
The one thing that's different: a stuck-open garage in the Okanagan isn't just inconvenient. It's a security risk for vehicles, tools, and stored gear, and a damage risk if a wildfire smoke event or hailstorm rolls through overnight. That's why we don't play the after-hours surcharge game. Same rate at 2 AM as at 2 PM, no trip fees, written quote before we start work.

Our Process
Frequently Asked Questions
You really answer the phone at 3 AM?
Yes. Real humans, every night, weekends, holidays. We've done plenty of midnight calls across the Okanagan - lake cottages, vacation rentals, primary residences. The line at (778) 910-3106 doesn't go to voicemail.
What kinds of after-hours calls are worth making?
Door stuck open (security and weather exposure), door won't close so you're effectively locked out of secure storage, broken spring (don't try to manually lift the door), cables hanging or door off track, opener failure with a vehicle trapped inside. Anything where waiting until morning makes the problem worse.
Will the bill be different than a daytime call?
No. We made a deliberate choice not to charge after-hours premiums. The bill at 3 AM matches the bill at 3 PM for the same repair. The only thing different is which clothes the technician is wearing.
How long until you can reach me at night?
Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Peachland: 60-90 minutes typically. Vernon and Penticton: 90-120 minutes. Osoyoos and remote properties: 2-3 hours, longer in active storms. We'll always give you the realistic number when you call.
What can I do while I'm waiting for you?
Keep everyone away from the door (broken springs and cables are dangerous). Don't force-cycle a stuck door - you'll damage panels or the opener. If security is a concern with a stuck-open door, we can talk you through a temporary manual lock-down over the phone.
